Horne’s one-man show

Ricky Horne is a humble goalkeeper for Rothes even on a day where he is on excellent form which has helped the Speysiders significantly this season.

I interviewed him for the Scottish Highland Football League Channel after the game against Fraserburgh where he peformed brilliantly.

Regardless of that he just said “Its my job.” Which shows he never boasts about his impressive displays and does the talking on the pitch. Ricky deservedly got awarded the SHFLTV save of the season. Personally he is one of the best goalkeeper I have seen in the Highland League.

Rothes are very lucky to have a keeper as good as Ricky. The stopper is a great leader at the back and commands his six yard box effectively. A true professional who children should looked up to for a brilliant role model. What do you think of top keeper Ricky Horne? Its simple for me as I have seen him several times making unbelievable saves.

Below watch the highlights of Rothes versus Fraserburgh and Sean McAngus interview Peter Alexander Bruce, Kris Hunter, Ricky Horne and Graeme Roy.
