Fraserburgh‘s Scott Barbour tasted success at the Scottish Fitba Base Highland League awards as he was crowned the young Highland League player of the year by the fans.
After hearing the news that he had won the award from me, Scott Barbour said: “ I was chuffed again to win the young player of the year for the Sunday post the last two year but it’s good to see supporters voting for me”
The striker beat the likes of Brora Rangers Andrew Greig, Darren Bailey of Lossiemouth and team mate Jonny Chalmers to grab the award.
While Fort William grabbed the treble,Brora’s Steven Mackay got the player of the year and Brora grabbed the supporters of the season award.
