Deveronvale assistant Mark Chisholm was disappointed with his side losing to Brora

Deveronvale assistant manager Mark Chisholm was disappointed with his side losing 2-0 to Brora Rangers. As first half goals from Dale Gillespie and Steven Mackay secured the away side the victory on Saturday at Princess Royal Park. But felt his side’s performance was better than in the last two defeats to Buckie and Keith.

Chisholm said: “Before the game we just looked for a performance as obviously we have been poor against Keith and Buckie. I think we got that today and we created a couple of chances. However gave away two soft goals. We did compete well today. Players like Richard Britain that can pick up dead balls are always going to cause you problems.

“Our defending could have been better. Since Steven, Craig and myself have come in our possession has been better. We do have the players like Harris that can score goals. But we have not scored in four games which is a little concern for us”
