Forres Mechanics versus Cove Preview

Forres Mechanics go to North Lodge Park to face Cove Rangers today  looking to grab all three points to give their fans an early Christmas present after almost a month without playing a game due to postponements.

This will be the first time I have seen Cove this season and there has been loads of hype surrounding the club. If they record a win and Brora Rangers lose to the Broch, John Sheran’s side will be leveled on points with the league leaders.

As you will know now I am horrendous at predicting scorelines so I will not bother to do this. This game could be crucial in the race for the Highland League title. Meanwhile Charlie Rowley’s side will cause them all sorts of problems with his creative players such as Dachi Khutsishvili if they have a good day at the office.

The team news

Cove: They are without Stuart Duff and Stirling Smith , while Dean Lawrie and Jonny Smith return to the squad.

Forres: The Can Cans are without the injured Stuart Soane and Graham Fraser.

I am looking forward to this game. There will a match report of the game, interviews with both managers and hopefully a player as well.  Enjoy the game you are going to this afternoon.
