The Top 10 blog posts of 2015

It was a big year for my blog the Scottish Fitba Base, so I wanted to share a list of my best articles with all of you. As always, I’m so grateful for your attention. I hope you enjoy reading these posts.

1. Scottish Fitba Base Highland League awards!

download (3)This post was very popular as the fans got to choose the winners for a change. People enjoyed taking part in the Highland League awards. The amount of positive feedback I received from this post was unbelievable. More than 1000 people voted in the awards which is an excellent achievement for me. There will certainly be a Highland League awards in 2016.  To read the article click here:

2. Fort William bag treble at Highland League awards


This post was about Fort William grabbing the treble in the Highland League awards as goalie Robin Harvey was given goalkeeper of the year, the club picked up the team of season and manager Calum Maclean got the manager of the year for the club’s successful season. 3. Rothes approach Golspie about signing their Club Captain

This post was an exclusive piece as Golspie Stafford official Calum Rayburn messaged me to say that Rothes had approached them to sign captain Adam Sutherland with the player rejecting the move to the Highland League Club due to family reasons. This has resulted in me writing other articles about Stafford and giving the club some exposure.To read the article click here:

4. Forres say farewell to top keeper Mark Bowden

This post was an interview with Keeper Mark Bowden who was leaving Forres Mechanics as he moved down south with his family. He told me his highlights of playing for the Moray side, along with the best player he has played against and other things.
