Scottish Fitba Base awards results 2017

Buckie Thistle  has clinched five prizes at the Scottish Fitba Base Highland League awards 2017 as Jay Cheyne has been crowned young player of the year, Graeme Stewart has been named manager of the year, the club picked up team of the season for their cup double, player of the year went to Jags top scorer John McLeod and they also won support of the season.

These winners were chosen by Highland League supporters. Turriff United keeper Kevin Main picked up the Highland League keeper of the year 2017.

The goalkeeper beat the likes of Jags goalie Daniel Bell, Stuart McKenzie of Cove Rangers and Brora Ranger’s Joe Malin.

These awards have proven to be popular this year as well ever since it started in 2014. Supporters decided the winners.

Thanks to all the Highland League supporters who voted in these awards look forward to more reaction to the results later next week!!
